One Global Standard
The same formats, rules and official materials in every city.
One Standard, Every City
Global Jigsaw Puzzle League (GJPL) sets one global standard for competitive jigsaw puzzling, the timed puzzle solving also known as speed puzzling, so that every result, in every city, is fair and comparable. The standard covers formats, piece counts, official materials (GJPL-approved Assembrio jigsaw puzzles, score sheets and certificates), rules and scoring, session logging, and how internal and public rankings work.

What Every GJPL Competition Follows
Official Materials
All GJPL competitions use GJPL-approved Assembrio jigsaw puzzles only, at every level, so that every competitor faces the same standard.
Rules and Timing
Every GJPL competition follows the GJPL Rules Handbook and the GJPL scoring system, applied by facilitators trained and certified to the GJPL standard. Individual and Duo competitions use 300 or 500 piece jigsaw puzzles; Team Relay and Team Sync use 500 pieces.
Session Requirements
A session counts officially only when its results are logged with GJPL. Logged results feed the leaderboards, qualify organisations for the next level, and allow GJPL certificates to be issued. Internal leaderboards are private to each organisation; public rankings begin at city level.
Formats and Piece Counts
The same jigsaw puzzle. The same clock. The same rules. In every city.
